Ruxandra Chitescu (musically known as RUXA) is a London-based multidisciplinary artist. Originally from Romania, she is defined by soulful performances and a striking screen presence. With a BA in Acting and a second in Popular Music, she brings raw depth and nuance to her diverse work.

Ruxandra has appeared in both television and film, channelling emotional truth into a wide range of projects. Since moving to London in 2020, she has been independently releasing music, designing each song as its own immersive yet expansive universe through fascinating visual storytelling. Her indie dark/cinematic-pop sound is layered with poetic, deeply reflective lyricism that carries rawness and unflinching honesty. She also works as a model, confidently exploring the interplay of sensuality and power.

This cross-disciplinary practice fuels a rare intensity and shapes her artistic identity, while she continues to cultivate a vivid, distinctive voice.
