Ronan Kelly is an American actor, writer and filmmaker from California, now based in London. Inspired by Greco-Roman mythology and Pacific Northwest folklore, he studied Anthropology and Classics at UC Berkeley and NYU before graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he trained in the Meisner technique and completed Stonestreet Studios’ Film and Television Residency.

A devoted Shakespearean, Ronan recently produced and directed Julius Caesar at Fount Studios in New York, playing Brutus in a sold-out run. His stage credits also include Olivia Basile’s Sea Glass and Henry VI, Part I with Bard in the Bookshop in London.

Ronan has worked professionally in film for nearly a decade. His debut short, Passage, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and his production experience includes working as a producer and 1st Assistant Director across film and commercial projects. He is currently producing a film by London theatre artist Kit Green and developing Greenwood, a limited television series inspired by the landscapes and folklore of his childhood.

A keen rock climber, hiker and outdoorsman, Ronan is eligible to work in the UK and USA and can work as a local hire in Los Angeles.
